Phyllis Ann (Mills) Farmer

Phyllis Ann Farmer left this life, to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 27, 2020. 

Phyllis was born in Beaver, Oklahoma on June 1, 1942. Her parents were Francis and Maxine (Lane) Mills. 

Phyllis married James Farmer on May 27, 1960. Together they had three children, Becky, Teri and Heath. Later in life Phyllis was blessed with eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. 

Phyllis was determined, competitive and hardworking. She liked nothing more than to work alongside her family and friends to complete a task. Faithful, kind, gentle and joyful are words used to describe Phyllis. She loved to sing and used her gift, most of her life, as she served the Lord in her local body of believers. It was, however, her faith and trust in Jesus Christ that gave her assurance of eternal life spent in the presence of her Savior. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Terril Mills. She is survived by her loving children, their spouses, grandchildren and spouses, great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, a niece and family. She also leaves behind an abundance of other wonderful family members and friends that she loved like family.
