Lyndon Charles Imke passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. Born to Charles Henry Imke and Bertha Belle Cope Imke on September 20, 1933. Lyndon and brother Billy grew up on the family farm in Follett, Texas.
Following graduation from Follett high school, he attended Wentworth Military Academy, then transferred to OSU in Stillwater, Okla., graduating with a degree in Agriculture.
While working for the Soil Conservation in Panhandle, Texas he met Joanne Harper, secretary for the county attorney. They were married on August 8, 1958.
Lyndon was a lifetime member at First Baptist Church. He has served Lipscomb County on several boards and committees, such as director for North Plains Electric Co-op and Follett school board.
Lyndon is survived by his wife, son Charles W. Imke and wife, Lyndonna Williams and husband, two grandsons Dezmond and Tajon Williams.
