Gary G Hadley

Gary Glenn Hadley of Laverne OK passed away April 26, 2021, at 80 years of age. He was a resident of Western Skilled Nursing and Therapy in Woodward at the time of his death.

Gary was born December 29, 1940, in Grand Rapids MI to Marvin and Marie Hadley. The Hadleys moved from Perryton TX to Laverne in 1962, with his father’s employment by Sun Oil Company, and then again after his dad’s retirement. Gary lived with his parents in Laverne until they both passed away: his father in 1987 and Marie in 2001. At that time he then moved with his younger brother Marvin and Dorothy Plummer to Rayville LA. 

He was able to live independently in Laverne with his beloved cats in the home he had shared with his mother. He was a regular sight in Laverne as he often walked to the Senior Citizen Center and the Post Office.

He moved to the nursing home in Buffalo and then to Woodward where he was a staff favorite due to his easy going manner and smile.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Phyllis. He is survived by sister Sandra (JC) Johnson of Evart MI; brother Marvin (Dorothy Plummer) Hadley of Fort Mohave AZ; and several nieces and nephews    Direct Cremation was by the Laverne Funeral Home
