Brazella "Zeke" Copple

Brazella (Zeke) Henderson Copple was born on August 25, 1950 to parents Glades (Shepherd) Copple and Harold Henderson Copple in Beaver, Oklahoma. He passed from this earth on February 12, 2021 at the Senior Village in Perryton, Texas.

Zeke grew up on the family farm just north of the state line in Beaver County, Oklahoma with brothers Harold and Daryl Copple and sister Erma Jean Copple. He attended school in Follett, Texas and graduated from Follett High School in 1969. After graduating, Zeke worked for various farmers and ranchers in the area until getting a job in the oilfield. Zeke worked many years in the oilfield until a vehicle accident left him unable to return to work in 2008.

Zeke met Yvonne (Wagon Burner) Taylor in Arnett, Oklahoma in 1990 through a mutual friend. The two became friends and soon fell in love. They were inseparable for many years until Zeke had a motorcycle accident. Zeke lived with close friends until moving into the Beaver Nursing Home for a short time for recovery. Zeke moved to Follett, Texas and lived with Robert Williamson until medical issues forced him to go into the Senior Village in Perryton, Texas. He made several friends and enjoyed his time there until his death.

Zeke was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sister. He is survived by a sister-in- law and three nephews, various cousins and other family members.
