Wilma "Jane" Louise (Buss) Jackson

Wilma Louise “Jane” (Buss) Jackson passed peacefully on January 10, 2024 at the Western Skilled Nursing Home in Buffalo, Oklahoma. She was born August 24, 1924 to Elza and Lela (Snider) Buss in Harper County, Oklahoma.

Jane, as she was always known, attended school in Buffalo, Oklahoma. On December 21, 1943 she married Robert (Bob) Jackson in Laverne, Oklahoma. They were married 66 years until his passing on June 7, 2010. To this marriage, one son, Robert (Rob) Jackson was born.

Throughout her life, Jane attended the First Christian Church in Buffalo, she enjoyed assisting the nurses at the Buffalo Hospital and Nursing Home, for a short time working at Trego’s Western Wear, bowling, skating and riding a two-seater bicycle with her husband.

Survivors include her son Robert (Rob) Jackson, grandson Taylynn Jackson and wife Lucy, granddaughter Tanesa (Jackson) Kline and husband Kolby, great grandchildren Cooper Jackson, Daxton Kline and Eli Kline all of Woodward, Oklahoma and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Jackson, “Little” Helen Jackson, daughter-in-law June Jackson, sisters; Marjorie Buss and Betty Brown, brothers; Elmer Buss, Bill Buss, Curt Buss and Jimmy Buss, sister-in-laws; Macy Buss and Helen Downey and brother-in-law John Downey.
