Thomas "Tom" Gordon CaseyJuly 14, 1934 ~ August 16, 2020 (age 86)
Thomas Gordon Casey, 86, peacefully departed this life at his home on August 16, 2020, surrounded by his family. Tom was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Thomas Guymon & Flora Mae (Raines) Casey, on July 14, 1934. He graduated from Rosston High School in 1952, then attended Panhandle State University before transferring to Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater. Tom returned to the farm and began farming with his grandfather, William Jasper Casey. On November 16, 1958, he married the love of his life, Shirley Little, and working together they faced all of life’s rewards and challenges. The couple made their home in Harper County, Oklahoma, where he was a 4th generation farmer/rancher.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Shirley; daughter Teri Curtis, daughter and son-in-law Pam & CG Crocker; granddaughters Jordi Curtis and great-grandson Sonny of Laverne, Jaden Crocker of Turpin, OK, and Kasen Crocker of Emporia, KS. He is also survived by his sister Rosalee Eells of Laverne, and brother-in-law Ron Little of Gilbert, AZ; his dear nieces and nephews and their families Jan Love, Brad Little, Renee Tumolo and Ryan Little, cousins he loved dearly, many, many friends and his coffee-drinking buddies.
He is preceded in death by his parents Guymon and Flora Mae Casey, as well as his in-laws Harold and Thelma Little; brother-in-law Ray Eells, sister-in-law Jan Little, nephews Mark Eells and Burt Little, and niece Tammy Terry.
Tom is remembered as a humble, generous, man of integrity, who loved well, lived fully, and laughed often. The twinkle in his blue eyes, his words of wisdom & his open arms will be forever missed.
