Obituary Image

Thomas Patrick Curl also known as Tommy Curl, 76 of Forgan, Oklahoma passed from this life on November 16, 2020 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born December 4, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Huey and Delia (Mesker) Curl and brother to Mary Curl.

Raised by his family to be a good Irish Catholic, he hungered for anything he could learn about this man they called Master. Even with no formal education and unable to read or write, he continued to learn as much as he could about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He told his children stories he learned in church come alive before his eyes.

He was a strong apostle of Jesus Christ, our savior, a testifier of his faith and love of Christ to anyone who would listen, and excellent role model to his family.

He married Barbara (Worton) Curl on July 11, 1965 in Lemmon, South Dakota and they were married 55 years and had two children T.J Curl and Judy Curl.

He loved being married and being a father and grandfather most of all. He was a painter by trade and he loved to show all of us every house he ever painted.

He was survived by his wife Barbara Curl of Forgan, Oklahoma, son T.J. and Dettsie Curl of Forgan, Oklahoma, daughter Judy Curl of Forgan, Oklahoma, granddaughter Hana and Rick Cotten of Clinton, IN, grandson Thomas Curl of Forgan, OK, grandson Kyler Tedford of Forgan, Oklahoma, granddaughter Indy Curl of Forgan, Oklahoma, and grandson Kadan Delatorre of Fogan, Oklahoma, and 6 great grandkids Rickey, Presley, and Taylye Cotton, Thomas Curl, Mason and Sadie Curl, and many nieces and nephews and cousins he loved dearly.
