Tara Dawn (Skipper) Robinson of Lipscomb, Texas was born to Gary and Wava Skipper on August 3, 1973 in WaKeeney, Kansas and went to see Jesus on February 6, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. After living in Hays and Garden City for a brief time, the family moved to Morland, Kansas where Tara graduated from Morland High School. Tara then attended Southwestern A/G College in Waxahachie, Texas where she met Russell Robinson, as well as graduating with a Business administration degree. After moving to Oklahoma City, Tara and Russell married on Dec 30, 1995 and to this amazing union were born 4 children; Noah, Julia, Seth and Caleb.  After several years of ministry in local churches in Yukon, Oklahoma and Kendrick, Oklahoma, Tara and Russell started Five Star Church in Bethany, Oklahoma where Tara severed as Co-Pastor with Russell. During her time with Five Star the Lord used Tara to minister to broken and hurting people no matter where they came from or what they had done, Tara wrapped her arms of love around anyone who was hurting, to bring them the love of Jesus that she knew so well. Tara loved bigger than life and any room she walked into instantly changed. Anyone who had the privilege to meet her knew that she was all about meeting whatever need they had.  Tara was a worshipper whose worship could take everyone around her into the presence of Jesus in a moment. Tara preached the Word with a simplicity and power that saw many set free from addictions and destructive lifestyles. On October 2017, Tara and Russell moved to the Texas panhandle, first to Follett then to Lipscomb where they began to build the next chapter of their lives together. Though her time in Lipscomb has been short, it has been fruitful; she recently learned that she was going to be a grandma for the first time. Tara’s lived life to the full; fully loving God, passionately loving Russell, fiercely loving her children and family. Tara was a woman of life and love and all who knew her were blessed by both.

Tara is preceded in death by her father, Gary Skipper and son, Noah. Leaving behind to carry on her legacy are her husband, Russell of the home, children; Julia and husband Jeremiah McPhail, Seth Robinson, and Caleb Robinson all of Lipscomb, her mother; Wava and stepfather Greg Maier of Booker, brother; Jay Skipper and wife Melissa of Booker, and a host of extended family nas well as those knew her as a spiritual mom.

Tara loved her church North Harvest Church and her pastors and supported them in prayer daily. Her heart beat for Jesus and everyone knew it, words cannot begin to describe the word left by her absence, but oh her rejoicing in Heaven with her Jesus is beyond compare. Our lives have been changed knowing this amazing woman of God and earth has truly lost one of its greatest treasures. Her faith in Jesus and his Word, and her love for him was the bedrock of her life and is the greatest gift she left to all who knew her.
