Shirley Ann (Harbour) Smith was born February 9th, 1944 in Gage, Oklahoma to Charles and Helen Harbour. Shirley grew up in Gage and in 1960 married Irvin Cook. To this union two children were born. Rodney Alan and Misty Dawn.
In 1982 Shirley married P.A. (Smitty) Smith. They remained living in Gage.
Shirley worked at the Gage Quick Stop for over 20 years. She loved mingling with the customers. She also sold Avon for many years and Grandma Helen and her delivered meals-on-wheels to the Gage residents. She enjoyed playing SkipBo and doing crossword puzzles and tending to her flowers outside, but her most favorite thing to do was feeding her birds and squirrels. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She has an “Elvis Presley” room with all her memorabilia. She loved her family deeply. She is a very special woman who will be truly missed.
On July 24th, 2025, Shirley passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Harbour, her husband, Smitty, her son, Rodney, siblings Betty Mitchel and Butch Harbour, son-in-law Mike Bandy
and son-in-law Jesse Pratt
She is survived by her daughter, Misty Bandy, of Gage, Ok and sister Carol Short, of Spearman, Tx. She is also survived by her grandchildren Rick, Desiree, and Stephen of Gage, Ok, Jennifer and husband Robert of Enid, Ok., Great grandchildren Jocelyn and Brooklyn of Henderson Co, Katelyn, Jesse, Brylee, Emeree, Kenny, Clovis, and Tripp of Gage, Ok, Questa and Kye of Woodward, Ok, Treyton of Enid, Ok, step granddaughter Jennifer and husband Brandon,
step great granddaughters Lacy, Chrisann, and Zaryn, and great great grandson Asher, all of Elk City Ok, and many other relatives and friends.
