Robert “Bob” Wayne Imke was born to Joe Frank and Lois Electra (Redman) Imke on March 25, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 13, 2020 in Canadian, Texas. Bob had two brothers Frank and Keith, they moved to the Follett, Texas area when he was 1 year old and graduated from Follett High School with the Class of 1957.

Bob married Carol (Pratt) on June 25, 1961 in Darrouzett, Texas and to this union 2 children were born, Elisa Dawn and David Dewayne. Bob and Carol made their home in the Follett area where Bob was a farmer and rancher. Bob enjoyed playing on the town’s softball and volleyball team, traveled all over Texas and Oklahoma to square dance and coached T-ball and Little League baseball for many years. He was active in the Darrouzett Ag Booster, traveled many miles with the Darrouzett School Sports programs for several years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Darrouzett and gave his heart to the Lord in a revival meeting in Copperas Cove, Texas. Bob spent 3 years traveling with the New Beginning Gospel Quartet, singing all over Texas and Oklahoma.
