Robert Patrick Garner, 79, of Bethany, Oklahoma, died peacefully on July 27th, 2025.
Pat Garner was born in Austin, Texas, to S.O. & lna Jean Garner on December 26th, 1945. Pat attended Kress Elementary School, then graduated from Amarillo High School. While attending West Texas University he joined the ROTC. Upon graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Education, Pat became a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He met and married Roma Jean Ford of Follett, Texas in 1970. They lived in Texas City and Beaumont, Texas. He then went on to work for the B.F. Asher Pharmaceutical Company in sales where he earned numerous top sales awards in Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. ln 1975 the company transferred him to Oklahoma City. Within a few short months of their arrival, they had Andridawn their only child. They resided in Bethany, Oklahoma where Pat and Roma Jean owned a barber shop. ln his later years, he worked for the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Pat and Roma Jean retired to live in Logan, Oklahoma. Pat had a love for his dogs and VW Beetles.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Roma Jean Garner, and his granddaughter Haley Harrison.
Pat is survived by his daughter Andridawn, her husband Marty Harrison and grandson Hank Harrison of Blanchard, Oklahoma, sisters Sharon Garner and husband Ed Browne of Houston, Texas and Betty Garner of Keller, Texas, cousins Rick Baker of Rochester, New York, Gary Stovall and his wife Amy of Kress, Texas and Gina Stovall of Kress, Texas
