Esther, my love and prayers are with you and your family. I am grateful for the time PD and you gave when, as a young married couple in Laverne, you were church youth sponsors. I especially remember a girls' slumber party in your home. PD graciously let us invade, disappeared during "girl" times, and then magically appeared again when we needed something. PD was indeed a kind and giving man. I'm sure his students loved him. May the Lord give you extra comfort at this time.

It's been many years since I've seen him, but I still remember PD as one of the sweetest men I've ever met. My prayers are with Esther, Matt, and the rest of the family.
