Pamela Kay Aylett Burlingham entered into her eternal home August 28, 2025 in Shattuck, OK. She was born February 7, 1960 in Woodward, OK to Wilma Moore.
She grew up in Laverne, OK and Hooker, OK where she graduated high school. In 1990, Pamela graduated nursing school from Seward County Community College and went on to serve as a nurse for 27 years. She worked at the hospitals in Buffalo, Shattuck, and Woodward, serving both as an ER nurse and OB nurse. Pam had a true caring passion for patients and especially loved welcoming new life into this world.
In 1986 she welcomed her first son, Kale Andrew. In 1988 Pam met the love of her life, Dave Burlingham. They were married November 15, 1991. To this marriage were born three sons: Brett Austin(1992), Cordell James(1994), and John Edward(1997). Along with her dedication to nursing, Pam was also a soccer coach, bookkeeper for baseball games, and a "second mom" to many kids in the community.
Pam had a deep and abiding love for all creatures big and small. Over the years she cared for and cherished many animals and was rarely without at least one of them by her side.
Pam is survived by her husband Dave; four sons Kale (Nikie), Brett (TaKeyah), Cordell (Estefania), and John; eight grandkids Ruben (13), Daniel(11), Willie(11), Lexi(10), Josephine(10), Hadleigh(6), Amelia(2), and Ezra(1); her brother, Darrel Moore; and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilma and Merel Moore and sister Lynda "Pearlene" Mitchell.
