Nancy Louise (Morris) Voorhies

Nancy Louise Voorhies began her life journey on the 8^th day of September, 1953, in Toppenish Washington.  She moved in to her heavenly mansion on the 3^rd day of January, 2020.  Nancy Louise Voorhies is proceeded in death by her parents Myrtle Armstrong Morris & Edward Walter Morris and Stepmother Alice Morris.  Her brothers Joe and Eddy Morris, Sisters Dorothy Armstrong, Norma Sisson and Bobbie Zyph.  Nancy Louise Voorhies leaves behind Her husband, Jerry Lynn Voorhies (Happily Married since the 16^th day of February 1974) and her only son Dusty Voorhies and daughters Tabitha Woodie and Crystal Voorhies.  Nancy was very dedicated to all of her family and those who knew her described her as a Momma Bear with a heart of gold.  Nancy was a very proud Nana of Nathan and Samantha Elder, Rikki Bailey, Jalynn Voorhies, Spencer Amerin & Domonicque Simmons, Grace Powell, Jeb Voorhies, Faith Powell, and Levi Voorhies as well as the great-grandkids; Corey, Maddison, Owen and Skylar Elder, Aniyaha Simmons, Azekiel & Alivia Amerin.  In addition to immediate family, Nancy has many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.  On her life journey she made many close friends that have been like family including dear members of the Paterson, WA community as well as the fellow volunteer Fire Fighters and EMTs and the many children Nancy and Jerry fostered throughout their 45 years of marriage.  Nancy Louise Voorhies was known as a wonderful force of nature and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
