He called continuously when Roland had bladder cancer surgery. The surgery was many hours long, but Bro. Doc kept calling and saying, "How is my friend?" He was a faithful prayer warrior, not only then but always. We will miss his Cheshire Cat grin and colloquialisms, and the way he (along with Sis. Juanita) made us feel like we mattered. Our love and prayers are with the family.
