Mark Shane Shepherd went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the age of 45 in the Curahealth Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born June 18, 1974 at Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, Oklahoma to William “Bill” F. Shepherd and Betty (Dixon) Shepherd. He was welcomed to the family by his parents, sisters Heather Dawn and April Renea’. Mark attended Forgan Grade School until 7th grade and then transferred to Lavern School and attended there until he graduated in 1993. He married Amanda K. Judah in October [MaRK1] 15, 1994 and to this union was born t in two sons, Mark Christian and Nathaniel Lee and one daughter, Summer Dawn. Mark excelled in many things. He was a pumper in the oil field, was a certified EMT and won many contest and trophies in Karate. He liked to play his harmonica with a band, never saw a stranger, helped anyone having trouble on the road and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. His mother used to scold him for stopping and helping people on the road, afraid he might get attacked, but he would say “I don’t think anyone will try me and if they did I would be able to take care of myself.” After he and Amanda divorced, Mark moved into the old house at the farm where his parents lived across the driveway. Mark excepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and baptized in the Living Word Fellowship Church in Woodward, Oklahoma, as a young adult.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents Victor and Lucy Shepherd, Kermit G. Dixon and wife, Lilah (Dixon) Schukar, uncle, Victor Ray Shepherd, sister, April R. (Shepherd) Mills and brother, Brandon Shepherd.
