Marilyn Lucy (Ritter) Vanfleet

Marilyn Lucy (Ritter) Vanfleet of Laverne, Oklahoma passed away July 31, 2020 at the age of 71. She was born August 31, 1948 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Lester and Thelma Ritter.

She enjoyed cross-stitch and spending time online playing bingo and other games. She loved the online groups she was a part of and made many friendships through them. She was a collector of angles and anything Mickey and Minnie mouse. She loved her family and loved cooking and spending time with her grandkids She was goofy and always very quick witted and a true lover of diet coke. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Lester Ritter as well as her brother Johnny Ritter. She is survived by her husband James D. Vanfleet and 2 sons Mathew Vanfleet and Phillip Vanfleet. Her five grandsons Jeremy, Justin, James, Steven, Austin and one granddaughter Jessica Vanfleet. Her brother Arthur Ritter, two sisters Gloria Torres and Elizabeth Thompson as well as many nieces and nephews.
