Jerry W. Price passed peacefully on August 12, 2020 in Ponca City, Oklahoma Jerry

was born December 6, 1942 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Elbert Burton (Bob) Price and Lizzy

Jane (Tunie) Moore. Jerry attended school in Mulvane, Kansas and graduated with the

class of 1960. After graduation, Jerry attended Wichita State University for 1 year.

Jerry worked 2 years at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita before joining the Navy in August

1963. While in the Navy, Jerry was aboard the USS Newport News on the Admiral's

Staff as a weather observer and forecaster until being discharged August 1967. While in

the Navy, Jerry was stationed at Beeville, Texas for flying lessons. After Jerry's

discharge from the Navy, he attended AG Aviation Academy at Minden, Nevada to

receive his commercial instrument and multi-engine license.

 Jerry moved to Ashland, Kansas to work for Carter Aviation as a ground school

instructor, flight instructor and charter pilot.

 On July 18, 1970 Jerry married Diana Marie Hoffman in Ashland, Kansas. To this

union two daughters were born, Brenda and Nicole.

 Through the years Jerry worked for Edwards Aviation in Goodland, Kansas as an

airplane mechanic and crop duster. Jerry also worked for Gates Learjet in Wichita,

Kansas, Cable Com TV in Ashland, Kansas and Pioneer Communication in Scott City,

Kansas. During his spare time, Jerry loved flying, playing golf, and woodworking.

 Survivors include his wife Diana, two daughters Brenda (Ryan) Bridenstine and

Nicole (Andrew) Thomas. One sister, Anita (Fred) Dressie. Sister-in-law Lisa Price and

brother-in-law Don Hoffman. Three grandsons Garrett and Kyler Bridenstine, Adyn

Thomas. Two granddaughters Brynlinn and Cambryn Thomas. There are eight nieces

and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his father (Bob), mother (Tunie), and

brother (Burt).

 The family would like to thank Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Pastor Dennis

Wildman and his wife, Pat. The family has been blessed with the love and support of so

many family, friends, and loved ones.
