I send my condolences to Jerry's family and close friends. It has been so inspiring to read the many responses and Jerry's obituary. It reminded me of Jerry's smiling face back in our high school days. Always friendly and kind!

Patt and Family,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Jerry. He always stayed very close to the Orville Howard family. I spent several summers at Grandma Hattie's and Jerry taught me how to herd cattle and milk. I was always so happy that you two built your family home on the farm where I lived from the time I was born to age four.

My deepest condolences go out to the Howard family. Jerry was one of the frienliest, kindest and funniest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Visiting with him when me and the boys were out to the old Logan farm for some hunting was always a high point of our trips. He will be dearly missed. He was truly a great man.

I am so sorry for your loss.. Jerry was an amazing man! He brought life anywhere he went. I love his laughter and his sense of humor. He was one of the hardest working men I know.
