Janice Goetzinger, 77 years old, of Beaver, Oklahoma left this earth on Friday, November the 13th , of 2020, at 4:13 p.m., at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At the time of her passing, she was with her beloved husband Robert H. Goetzinger, her son Skylar Goetzinger and daughters Monica Reed and Whitney Goetzinger.

                Janice was born on August 25, 1943 in Longview, Washington to Olen and Goldie Gregg. Janice was the youngest of three girls. She enjoyed a loving and devoted relationship with her sisters Myrna and Patty. Janice graduated from Beaver High School in 1961 and married Robert H. Goetzinger on June 30th, 1967. Janice was mother to five children, David, Skylar, Monica, Jennifer, and Whitney.

During her lifetime Janice was very devoted to God and her family. She enjoyed laughter, visiting with her close friends and being of service to anyone she could help. Janice believed the best and most important quality you have to pass on to your family is unconditional love. Janice lived this principle every day. She was a model of acceptance, strength, and perseverance. Janice was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a loving grandmother. 

Janice is survived by her husband Robert H. Goetzinger. Her biological children Willis Skylar Goetzinger, his wife Misti and their three children Jessica, Sara and Sky Goetzinger; Monica Jan Goetzinger Reed, her husband Christopher, and their two sons Robby and Caleb Reed; Whitney Jaye Goetzinger, her husband William J. Houser and their son Coty Goetzinger; her stepson David Robert Goetzinger, his wife Melinda and their six children: Mereya, Logan, Shiloh, Faith, Tristen, and Bella; and Jennifer Hanna, whom she loved as a daughter, her husband Elmer, their children Jack and Jade, as well as, their four grandchildren.  Janice also leaves behind her beloved sister Patty McDaniels and numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

A graveside service will be held Friday, at 2:00 p.m. on November 21, 2020, at Beaver Pioneer Cemetery. In honor of Janice COVID-19 restrictions will be followed and masks will be required. Guests not in the same household are asked to remain at least six feet apart and will be required to wear face masks. Per CDC guidelines there will be no direct contact with family members and other attendees including forsaking the shaking of hands or any personal contact.  During this unprecedented health crisis the need to wear a mask and to practice proper social distancing is critical for protecting the health of those who choose to attend.

The Family is asking that you bring and wear your mask at the graveside service and practice social distancing at all times.
