James Franklin “Frank” Elmore of Follett, TX was born April 15, 1942, to Glenard and Irene (Gillispie) Elmore on April 15, 1942, in Shattuck, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of 4 children. He passed from this world on February 22, 2019, at the age of 76 in Amarillo, Texas.

Frank graduated from Laverne High School in Laverne, Oklahoma in 1960. He attended college at Panhandle State University and graduated in 1964. He married Roxie Davis in 1960 and to that union were born 2 daughters; Kathy and Tanya. He married Judy Jayroe Wieser in 1981. Frank adopted Cade Wieser in 1985. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff in Guymon, Oklahoma, taught and coached in Higgins and Booker, Texas, owned Follett Propane Company, and was Justice of the Peace for 12 years in Lipscomb County, owned Red Angus Cattle in partnership with Donnie Todd, and co-owned the Champlin with Ray Franks.

He was an avid sports fan especially OU Sooners, Dallas Cowboy, Oklahoma City Thunder, LA Dodgers, and Follett Panthers. Served on various boards and was active in the Follett, Laverne, and Booker communities. The highlight of his day was talking to his daughters and drinking coffee with his brother in law, Donnie Todd.

Frank was preceded in death by father, Glenard Elmore and several special cousins.

He is survived by his 97-year-old mother, Irene, wife Judy Elmore, sisters; Glenda and husband Reggie Laubhan, Patsy Elmore, and Bonnie and husband Donnie Todd, daughters; Kathy and husband A. J. Johnson and Tanya and husband Brad Thiessen, sons; Cade Elmore and wife Jacqui, Dal Wieser and wife Carie and Jace Wieser and wife Cece, sister in law and brother in law Jane and Gerald Gamble, 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nephew, nieces,  cousins, and friends.
