JOHNATHON ERIC WRIGHT

Johnathon Eric Wright-Jones age 32, was born April 26, 1988 to Kathaleen (Kathy Wilson Jones) and John Wright of Shattuck Oklahoma. As far as Eric was concerned his Dad has always been Donnie Jones.

Eric left his Earthly home on Saturday August 8, 2020 to be with his Heavenly Father. Eric passed peacefully at home in Shattuck with his parents and a few family members.

Eric went to Canadian Public School until the 6th grade then went to Shattuck Jr. High and High School until the 11th grade.

Eric worked for Coke Trendle at the Whistle Stop Café as a dishwasher, Sonic as a cook, Leon Woods farming, Dean’s Casting Crew as a detail man, Silver Spur as a dishwasher and maintenance and DowDell Motors where Eric worked under his Uncle Charles as a detail man/maintenance/ and Repo man, and finally Richard Oblander as construction and part-time farming.

Eric enjoyed working, fishing, camping, cook outs, family get togethers, and driving his truck listening to music on the dirt roads. Eric loved spending time with his brothers especially at Lake Vincent.

Eric loved his fur babies, Bella and Mini.

Eric was preceded in death by his Grandparents- R.C. Wilson, Margaret and Cecil Satterlee, R.A. and Rosalee Jones, Tom and Velma Wright and Dub Phillips.

Uncles Gene Beck, Belmontie Wilson and Rabbit Wright. Cousin Chris Butler and son CJ Butler and God Brother Ricky Dake.

Eric is survived by his parents Kathy and Donnie Jones of Shattuck, Brothers JR and Sandi Jones of Virginia, Kevin Wright Jones of Virginia, and Brandon and Selah Jones of Shattuck. Sisters Jennifer Jones of Gage and Megan and Tyler Bland of Oklahoma. Aunt’s Debbie Hill of Shattuck, Sylvia and Kip Francis of Podo Oklahoma, Oleta and Alford Poole of Louisiana, and Erline and Dennis Wall of Livingston Texas. Uncle’s Charles Jones from Ardmore Oklahoma, Ray Jones from Amarillo Texas, James Beck from Fargo Oklahoma, and John Wilson Thompson from OKC.

Nephews Jakob Jones, Dillion Wright, Riley Jones and Caycee Wright. Nieces Alexus Jones, Hazel Jones, Katylynn Jones and Kylie Jones.

Eric’s God Mother Mona (Brown) Calvert and God Dad Beavis (Randy) Wiest of Benkelman Nebraska, God Mother Tommie Dake of Pampa Texas, and God Sister Dannielle Shaw of Tulsa. Eric’s Brother’s by heart Josh Pierce and Jason Erickson of Oklahoma and Bradin Calvert of Pine Bluffs Wyoming.

Eric’s biological Father John Wright and a lot of extended family and friends.

Eric will be greatly missed!!!

Graveside services were held Monday August 17, 2020 at 2 pm at Shattuck Memorial Cemetery with Richard Oblander officiating. Music for the service was “Go Rest High on that Mountain”, “See You When I See You”, “The Sound of Silence”. Arrangements was under the direction of the Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, OK.
