     Jerrel Dean “Bud” Arnett was born on August 27, 1949 in Perryton, Texas to John and Lois  Arnett.  He passed away on November 3, 2020 at his home in Fargo, Oklahoma.  Bud attended school in Perryton, Texas.

      In October of 1967, Bud joined the United States Army. During his time in the Army he served his Country proudly in Viet Nam.  He received several medals and citations for his service.  He was honorably discharged in Oct of 1970.

     On October 27 1970, Bud married Margie Garlitz. They celebrated 50 years of marriage just last week.

     Bud loved to work and tinker in his shop, he was very talented and could build almost any thing out of wood or metal. He always had several projects going at any given time, and you can see the results of his talents in and around their home.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lois Arnett and his brother, Kenneth Arnett.

     Bud is survived by his wife; Margie  of Fargo, OK. 2 sons, James Arnett and John Arnett both of Woodward, OK. 1 daughter; Tina Hallmark and her husband Bill of Stonewall, Colorado; 1 grandson, Ryan Hallmark of Fort Worth, Texas; 1 grand daughter, Amber Dretrick and her husband Nick and their sons, Gage and Easton of Hooker, OK.  3 sisters; Ann Dunsworth of Perryton, Texas; Marie Karber and her husband Sam of Balko, Oklahoma; Lela Bryan and her husband Jack of Perryton, Texas and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

 

Jerrel was a donor to Life Share and will be cremated and family services will be at a later date in Colorado. Arrangements was under the direction of the Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck, Ok.
