I have no words to express my sorrow at Gus's passing. He was such a kind and giving man. The way all of the kids are shows exactly what kind of man and example he set. My prayer for you all is that the memories give you comfort and laughter when needed.

I just watched the memorial video. What a lovely tribute to a kind & gentle soul & a tribute to a life well-lived. Gus is so well-loved, by everyone. I hope for comfort & peace in the days ahead for his family & loved ones. He is missed but he left behind a wonderful legacy.

Tammy, very sorry for you and your family’s loss. Prayers are lifted up for comfort and peace. Gus was always quite but when I would speak to him he was always willing to have a conversation. I will alway remember those blue eyes, gray silky hair and over alls. Thanks for all your selfless time Gus, giving to Abate of Oklahoma. Rest in peace sweet man.
