Fay Lavon (Bozarth) Firth left this life in her home in Laverne, Oklahoma, on Friday evening, April 22, 2022, at the age of 74 years, 7 months. She was born in Beaver County, Oklahoma, on November 30, 1947. She was one of six children born to Auto Fay Bozarth and Eula Francis (Colton) Bozarth.
She had a CMA license for providing care for the elderly in Laverne, Oklahoma, and the Western Skilled Nursing Home in Buffalo, Oklahoma. She later worked for her brother, Melvin Bozarth, cleaning dog kennels and grooming dogs. This led to the beginning of her own dog breeding business named B&F Puppies and Fay’s Dog Grooming at the family home in Laverne, Oklahoma. She retired from these businesses due to health problems.
Fay leaves as her survivors, husband William Ray Firth Jr. of the home, two sons, William Ray Firth III and wife Donna of Laverne, Oklahoma and Donald Lee Firth Sr. of Laverne, Oklahoma, two brothers, Marvin Lee Bozarth of Roosevelt, Utah, and Auto Francis Bozarth of Derby, Kansas. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Tina Stienbarger, Casey Morgeson, Michael Firth, Patricia McElveen, Rindy Firth, Donald Firth, Jr., Brandy Firth, and Ian Firth; great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, David Gene Bozarth, Ivan Ray Bozarth, Melvin Earl Bozarth.
