Eva La Rue (Miller)Wilhite went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; Thursday, March 11, 2021. Eva was born in Beaver County, Oklahoma, April 23, l933. At the age of fifteen months, Polio struck her, crippling her for life.

Her parents were Jake and Alta Miller. Eva was the eighth of nine children. She had six brothers: Alfred William Miller (deceased),  Jacob Heber Miller (deceased), Ted Job Miller (deceased),  Robert (Bob) Elmo Miller (deceased), George Baker Miller (deceased), and Norman Elmer Miller (deceased) and two sisters: Betty Lou (Miller) Wendel of Belmond, Iowa and Mary Ellen (Miller) Lane of Guymon, Oklahoma.  On July 1, 2004, Eva married Rudolph Wilhite.

After Eva graduated from Beaver Oklahoma Public Schools, she was admitted to the Bethany Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma and later, the Draughn’s Business College of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Throughout her career, Eva worked at the Beaver Museum, Beaver County Nursing Home and the Beaver County Hospital. She also worked for Dr. John Marks, Dr. E. A. McGrew, and Dr. Orby Butcher as a receptionist for the E. A. McGrew Clinic.

Eva was a great prayer warrior. Along with her parents, Jake and Alta Miller, Eva, her brother, Bob and his wife, Juanita, and their children, David and Treva Miller, her sisters, Betty Lou Wendel and Mary Ellen Lane, and Walter and Donna Dale started the Beaver Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Bulah and Calvin Lile. It flourished in that community for 65 years.

Working to bring others to know Christ and bringing many to develop a personal relationship with Him became an important part of her life.
