Douglas Lee Love

Douglas Lee Love, 50, passed away March 14, 2020.

Doug was born April 18, 1969 in Laverne Oklahoma, to Stanley Earl Love and Darlene (Kliewer) Love.  He graduated from Follett Independent School in 1987.  He was a part of the family owned business Love’s Grocery Store in Follett, Texas.

Doug was a member of the Follett United Methodist Church.  During high school he was a member of the FFA, Class President and active in junior high and high school football and baseball.

Hobbies Doug enjoyed included motorcycles, hunting and fishing, gunsmithing and coin collecting.  He will be remembered for his big heart, giving personality, and the love he had for his niece, nephew and great nieces and nephew.

He is survived by his parents Stanley and Darlene Love of Follett, TX, sister Selinda and husband Randy Dalegowski of Follett, TX, Tara and husband Jeremy Taylor of Follett, TX, Cameron and wife Rashel Dalegowski of Follett, TX, great nieces Randi and Dylan Taylor and great nephew Connor Dalegowski.  Preceded in death by his grand parents Earl and Eva Love,  Nealy and Alrene Kliewer.

Doug will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
