DAVID LOUIS COLVARD

   David Louis Colvard, 66, of Fargo, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his home.  He was born to Louis and Adrie Colvard on November 2, 1953 in Thomas, Oklahoma.  He attended 1st grade at Canton and then went from 2nd thru 8th grade at Oakwood at which point Oakwood lost their school.  David completed his high school years at Canton, graduating in 1972.  After graduation he went to work for USG in Southard, Oklahoma for 8 months and then began a career in the oilfield.  In September of 1977 he married his wife Vicky and the couple made their home west of Fargo.  In 1979 their son Jeremy Louis Colvard was born; Jared Marce Colvard was born in 1981.  

In 1980 David went to work for the COOP in Fargo for 18 years and then went back to work in the oilfield until he retired in 2013. 

He loved to garden and spend time with his family.  He is survived in this life by his wife Vicky Colvard, son Jeremy and wife Jennifer Colvard and grandsons, Mason and Chase Colvard, son Jared and wife Rebecca Colvard and grandson Axel Colvard, father Louis Colvard and brother’s Tim and wife Pam Colvard, Doug Colvard, Shaun and wife Christie Colvard.  He was preceded in death by his mother Adrie Colvard.
