Connie Sue (Swan) Shobert

Connie Sue Swan was born November 11, 1947, to Ralph William and Irene Frances Swan in Perryton, TX. She left this life on July 3, 2026, in the Newman Memorial Hospital, Shattuck OK.

She attended school in Greensburg, Kansas and graduated with the class of 1965. She was Rickie the Ranger her Senior year.

Connie was united in marriage to Jimmy Ray Shobert on Valentine’s Day 1976 at the Safeway Grocery store where she was employed. To this union was born Christy Michelle in 1979. Connie had an older daughter from a previous marriage, Janna Renae, born in 1969.

She enjoyed bowling in her younger days and won the Perryton, Texas bowling tournament in the singles and all events averaging over 200 per game, bowling her first ever over 600 series scratch. Connie enjoyed playing canasta, skipbo, going shopping, watching tv and being with family. She loved sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds fly around. She loved her diet coke and eating Reese’s cups.

Connie is proceeded in death by her parents, Ralph and Irene Swan, great granddaughter Kyndle Paige Bateman and nephew Scott Lynn Swan.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy of the home, daughter Janna Ryan, and daughter Christy and husband Genaro SanJuan, granddaughters Jaci Linn Bateman and Keeley Angelina SanJuan, Great Grandchildren Kodi Bateman and Kooper Bateman all from Laverne.

Connie is also survived by her brother Gary Swan and wife Joyce of Coldsprings, Texas, niece Melissa Swearingen and husband Randy of Montgomery, Texas, nephew Brad Swan and wife Julie of Las Vegas, Nevada and few great nieces and nephews.
