Charles Arlie Bowker was born to C.A. and Wanda Lake Bowker in Shattuck Oklahoma on June 30, 1952. Charles passed away on the evening of December 10, 2024 in his home while on hospice services. Charles grew up in Laverne Oklahoma and graduated with the Laverne High School Class of 1970. Charles was an avid sports fan and a Laverne Tiger fan through and through.
Charles lived most of his adult life in the greater Oklahoma City area. Many of those years were spent with his family in El Reno.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; his mother and father; uncle and aunt Bob and Roxie Boise of Laverne; maternal grandparents Ruie and Arlie Lake of Rosston; and paternal grandparents Arnold and Edith Bowker of Laverne; and a niece Jenny Laurel Rogers of Laverne.
Charles is survived by his sister, Jodi Rogers of Moore; nephew, Jesse and family Tara, niece Hannah Rogers, and nephew Jaxon Rogers of Moore; niece Emma Rogers and her family Favi and Ethan of Burleson Texas; step grandson Corey, and family Tara, Theo, and Parker of Mustang; and step grandson, Curtis Douglas and son Dawson.
A memorial graveside inurnment will be held at the Laverne Cemetery in the spring of 2025.
