Carole Ethel (Packer) Love was born March 4, 1938 to Robert William and Edna Alta Brown Packer in Liberal, Kansas. She attended Prairiola Grade School and graduated from Hugoton High School in 1956.
She worked for Dr. Hilbig in Liberal, Kansas and in Mesa, Arizona as a nurse aide.
She attended church while in high school and accepted the Lord as her savior.
Carole married James Edward Campbell on December 14, 1960. They made their home in the Adams, Oklahoma community and farmed and ranched. They had two children Janie Lynn and Lee Allen.
In 1983 Carole married Lloyd Barr Brown. They ranched in the Turpin community until his death in 1991.
She married JC Love in 1992. They made their home in Laverne and traveled extensively in their travel trailer. She enjoyed making friends wherever they went. She was active in the Laverne Senior Center and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband JC of Laverne, Oklahoma, daughter Janie (Tim) Jacobs of Hooker, Oklahoma, stepsons Gaylon (Kerri) Love of Buffalo, Oklahoma and Doug (Connie) Love of Laverne, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Ashleigh O’Leary of Grand Junction, Colorado, Mark Jacobs (Jo) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, James Jacobs (Kristin) of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Karson Love (Jessica) of Buffalo, Oklahoma, Kenton Love (Kaylee) of Fort Supply, Oklahoma, Kyle Love (Katie) of Laverne, Oklahoma, Brad Love of Laverne, Oklahoma, Josh Love (Jordan) of Laverne, Oklahoma, 16 great grandchildren, her good friend Iva Flaming, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Stanley Packer, sister Kathryn Cobourn and son Lee Campbell.
Her mission while at Woodward Nursing & Therapy was to make everyone smile at least once a day.
