Brittie Margaret Worton of Forgan, Oklahoma passed away on May 23, 2023 at the Beaver County Nursing Home in Beaver, Oklahoma. She was born October 21, 1927 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma to John and Millie Williamson and sister to Phillis Ross and Robert Williamson.
Early in life she loved helping her mom cook and taking care of her sister and brother. This is also where she found her love for sewing. She also loved to visit with family and friends.
She married Clarence Worton November 29, 1945 in St. John, Kansas and they were married 57 years and had three daughters; Belva Davidson, Barbara Curl and Carol Bryer.
She loved being a wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother and most of all great great grandmother. The best times were going to her house and Granny cooking breakfast for her whole family. She made the best cobbler and the most delicious fried bread, which, let me tell you, her grandsons absolutely loved and she loved to cook for them. Most days we could always find her in her sewing room making quilts and getting ready for their next craft show or making quilts for her many grandchildren. She was quite the woman and always on the go. We all have so many memories and she was loved so dearly and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Worton, her father John Williamson, mother Millie Williamson, daughter Barbara Curl, son in law Tommy Curl, Sister Phillis Ross and brother Robert Williamson.
She is survived by her 2 daughters; Belva Davidson of Springfield, MO, Carol Bryer (Eason) of Forgan, OK, 3 grandsons; TJ Curl (Dettsie) of Forgan, OK, Jason Prochaska (Brandi) of Harrison, AR, Eason Bryer (Sabrina) of Wichita, KS; 2 granddaughters Kelly Green of Springfield, MO, and Judy Curl of Forgan, OK; 13 great grandchildren; Hana Cotton (Rick), Thomas Curl, Bob Curl (Jamie), Indy Curl, Kyler Tedford, Kadan Delatorre, Brandon Prochaska, Destiny Prochaska (Morgan), Cheyenne Honeycutt (Baylie), Dakota Truitt, Abigail Truitt, Dalton Bryer, Dakota Bryer and many great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins she loved dearly.
