Brenda Sue (Powell) Cullins

Brenda Sue (Powell) Cullins was born on June 30, 1956, in Ruidoso, NM, the daughter of Marton Lee and Geneveive (Birkle) Powell.  She passed away on May 21, 2020, at Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck, OK.  Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands:  John Ehret and Terry Cullins.  She is survived by a brother, Marton Lee Jr. (Marty) and wife, Virginia; a sister, Karlinda Olmstead (husband Billy); caregiver and cousin, Gloria Wiseman (husband Bill); an aunt, Pauline Todd; niece, Larissa Wells (husband Josh, children: Tanner, Taylor, Tyler, Tyrel and Trayce); nephew, Adam Olmstead (wife Mackenzie, children: Braxton, Titus, Hunter, and Emersyn); niece, Mary Olmstead; as well as many other cousins and friends.

Brenda was a kind-hearted person who would do anything for you and give you anything she had.  Her most enjoyable job was dispatching for the Harper County  Sheriff’s Department.  Brenda enjoyed crocheting, and she shared her talent by giving her handiwork to many people.  She also enjoyed cooking when she was still able, taking care of plants, and just visiting with family and friends.

Brenda’s incredible will and her optimistic outlook on life will be dearly missed.
