Arlin David Brisendine known and loved as “Dee” , went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 21, 2020 at the Clinton Veterans Center, where he was very loved.

Dee was born on November 3, 1926 to Harrison A. Brisendine and Ina Maude (Pattison) Brisendine, they lived on a farm Northwest of Laverne. Afterschool, Dee helped his Dad on the farm until he joined the United Stated Army in 1945 and served his time in Italy, there as a corporal was honorably discharged in 1946. After returning home from the Army, he was introduced to Frances Faye Shephard from Gate, Oklahoma by his sister, Alpha Mae Brisendine. Dee and Frances were married later that same year on June 10, 1947. In time they moved to Enid, Oklahoma then back to Laverne and eventually to the farm.  After his father’s death in 1961, Dee became the soul owner of the farm and raised their three daughters; Barbara Faye, Shirley Marie, and Verla DeAnn.

Dee continued to operate the farm and raise cows, hogs, and chickens. He also raised his own feed and hay. He continued his career for General Inc. at the Sun oil gas plant which later became Conoco Gas Company, where he retired. In 2014, Dee required surgery and could not return to the farm.  They sold it and moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma where their youngest daughter lived.

He is survived by: his two daughters; Shirley Marie Wise and husband, Randy of Woodward, Oklahoma and Verla DeAnn Breon, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, sister;  Alpha Mae Smith of Okeene, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Ronnie Pierce and wife, Kim, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Stacey Pierce and wife, Ginna of Bountiful, Utah, Renee Cannon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sheryl French, of Woodward, Oklahoma, Misti Gooch and husband, Benny of Weatherford, Oklahoma, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
