Almeta Jean (Mead) Ashlock

Almeta Jean Mead Ashlock-Born July 12, 1947 in Laverne, Oklahoma to Raymond and Mary (Sample) Mead. She grew up in Laverne, Oklahoma. She graduated from Laverne High School in 1965. She married Dean Ashlock on July 7, 1965 in Wheeler, Texas. They moved to Hennessey, Oklahoma in 1969. Almeta was a loving wife and mother. Almeta was a care giver to many people through the years. She was a caring, sweet, and gentle soul. Family was one of the most important things to Almeta. To their union they added four children. Travis Ashlock and wife Lisa of Carencro, Louisiana. Teresa Wymore and husband Dennis of Ames, Oklahoma. Tabitha Ferrell and husband Eric of Sublette, Kansas. Tyson Ashlock and wife Rebekah of Enid Oklahoma. Grand children Cheyene Snell of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bailey Snell and wife Courtnye of Joplin, Missouri. Jake Ferrell and fiancé LaTristae Torres of Texhoma, Oklahoma. Taryn Ashlock of Enid Oklahoma. Kati Wymore and husband Jackie Walters of Hennessey, Oklahoma. Daniel Wymore of Hennessey, Oklahoma. Dean and Almeta were blessed with 3 great grandchildren and one expected to arrive early next year. Two loving sisters Jeanette Faye Beard of Follet, Texas and Ramona Ilene Davis of Battleground, Washington. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Raymond E. Mead and Mary (Sample) Mead. She is survived by her husband Dean Ashlock of the home, her children, grandchildren, great children, and her sisters.
