Alma Josephine “Jodi” (Winters) Devore, 74, died on January 20, 2021 at Shattuck Nursing Center in Shattuck, Oklahoma.

                Jodi was born on August 9, 1946 in Mutual, OK to Robert Franklin and Alice Mae (Hipp) Winters. She attended the first 6 years of school in Vici, OK before the family moved to Fort Supply. She graduated Fort Supply Public School, class of 1964, and was active in basketball and cheerleading.

                After graduation, Jodi moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and became a cocktail server for a few years and finally moved back to Fort Supply in the 1980’s. Jodi, soon co-owned and operated a video store with her brother called Roy’s Video Store in Woodward, OK.

                Jodi met RA Devore and moved to Laverne, OK.  Royle Author “RA” Devore JR and Jodi were married on Valentine’s Day on February 14, 1986. Jodi soon began working at the Laverne Post Office until her retirement in 2013.

                Jodi is preceded in death by her by her husband, parents, grandparents, Roy Curtis and Alma Bertha Hipp, grandparents Steve and Josephine Winters, brother, Elmer winters and sister-in-law, Betty Winters, Brother Ray Lee Winters, and brother-in-law, Carlos Miller.

Jodi is survived by her son Jon Jay “JJ”, wife Danelle “Dani”  grandson Deacon Jon Devore, sister, Irene and Gary Gartrell of Fargo, OK, brother Roy and Lillian Winters of Killgore, Texas, brother Bob and Terri Winters of Pottstown, PA, sister Edie Miller of Liberal, KS, three half-brothers and one step sister, and a host of many nieces and nephews who adored her and many friends.
