William Blinn Rector

William Blinn Rector, 69, passed away February 3, 2019 at St. Joseph Medical Center. 

Blinn graduated from Ruskin High School in 1969. He attended college at Metro Junior College in KCMO and University of Missouri Kansas City with a Bachelors and Masters in Business Accounting. While attending school, Blinn worked part-time at the downtown U.S Post Office, where his father was employed until his death in 1968. After graduating, Blinn went to work at K&W Tax Services till 1980. He then went to work for Social Security until he retired in 2007. He was very active in the Republican Party and his church Willow Creek Evangelical Friends.

Blinn is preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) T. and Margaret Dunn Rector. Survivors include his brother, Wayne (Gretchen) and their family, Moorestown, NJ; sister, Cyndee (Dennis Dixon) Williams, Ardmore, OK; nieces, Emily Rector, New Jersey, and Jasmine Long, Ardmore, OK; nephew, Craig Dudley, Los Angeles, CA; great nephews, Max Humphrey and Pearce Watson, Ardmore, OK; and good friends, Tony Key, Glenn Garrison, Keith Kline, Trish Taylor, Russ Rossi, John Sharp, and Harry Ingels.
