Pauline Fern Ward

     Pauline Fern Ward, age 79, of Laverne, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday June 24, 2017 surrounded by her family at Alliance Health Midwest Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

     Pauline was a loving wife and good mother.  She cared deeply for her family and visited them often. She especially enjoyed holiday gatherings and camping with family.

     Pauline was born on February, 10th 1938 in Laverne, Oklahoma to Cecil and Dorothy (Daugherty) Nelson.  On September 2nd, 1955 Pauline and Lester Ray Ward were united in marriage in Clayton, New Mexico and to that union 5 children were born.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Harold Nelson and husband, Lester in May 1978.  

     She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Hershel Robert Ward and wife, Sylvia of Greensburg, KS; Michael Ray Ward and wife, Alisa of Goshen, IN; Elizabeth Marie McCoy of Laverne, OK; Wayne Lee Ward and wife, Shannon of Greensburg, KS; Pamela Jean Fields and husband, Steve of Newalla, OK; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
