Nelta “June” Jackson was born in Midway, Arkansas on June 21, 1946 to Ira “Art” Yocham and Melvina “Mel” (Fox) Yocham. She graduated high school in Coweta, Oklahoma and then attended Tulsa Beauty College.
June and Rob Jackson were married on March 28, 1968. They have two children, son, Taylynn Jackson and daughter, Tanesa Kline.
She worked as a beautician most of her life, also worked at Panhandle Eastern and at the May Coop as a book keeper.
June enjoyed spending the long evenings sitting on the banks of the farm ponds fishing with Rob, being around family and friends, and the one thing she enjoyed the most about life was spoiling her grandbabies. She always called them “Her Angels”.
Survived by husband of 50 years Rob Jackson, son Tay Jackson and wife, Lucy and daughter Tanesa Kline and husband, Kolby Kline and grandbabies Copper Jackson, Daxton Kline, and Eli Kline; sisters Lavon and husband, Bill Stone, Charolette and husband, Johnny Orman, and Retha Secrest; brother, Buck Yocham: mother- in – law, Jane Jackson and numerous beloved friends and family.
Proceded in death by her parents, Art and Mel; father in law Bob Jackson; sisters Joyce McMillon and husband, WL; Doris Jean Shieldnight and husband, Kent; half-brother, Carmel, half- sister Neva, brother in law Sonny Secrest, sister in law Sherry Yocham; nephews Brian Yocham, Perry Shieldnight, and Brock Orman.
