HAROLD BAIRD Jr.

 Harold Baird Jr. age 74 from Shattuck, OK passed from this life on October 

19, 2018 in Shattuck Ok. Harold was born to Harold Sr. and Rose L. (Becker)

Baird on November 19, 1943 in Newman Memorial Hospital.  He lived West of Shattuck on the Kelln farm all his life, attended Seventh Day Advent School and graduated Shattuck High School in 1962.

     On December 25, 1964 married the love of his life, Alberta. First job farming with his father and did carpenter work for Fertlen Becker construction. Brick mason with his dad, drilling water wells for farmers in Ellis County, worked as a hand to put irrigations systems for a while. Then worked 23 years for the City of Shattuck driving Sanitation truck and retired.

     To this union was born two daughters, Teresa S. (Baird) Willison and husband Jody L. Willison: Pamela R. (Baird) and husband Justin W. Jahay.  Granddaughter’s, Brittany M. Jahay, and husband Dakota Etheridge, Kayla L.(Willison) Davis and husband Dakota Davis, and Caitlin M. (Willison). Grandson Stetson C. Jahay, Three Great grandchildren, Acelynn P. Davis, Stevie River Davis and Kyler Etheridge.

     He loved fishing, building things from wood products, Crafting, Built a small tractor with his dad. Built a dune buggie for him, Dad, cousin and my uncle. Loved to go to Fort Supply and the little Sahara running their dune buggies.

     He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Harold is survived by his wife, Alberta Baird, 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

     Harold was preceded in death by his father, Harold Sr. mom, Rose L. (Becker) Baird, Grandparents, Frank and Violet Baird, Jacob and Lizzy (Bender) Becker; Great Uncle George Kellen, Mary Bender Kellen, cousins, Aunts, Uncles, a niece, Mother-in-law Caroline (Manor) Mann and  Albert W. Mann, and lots of his friends.
