DOUGLAS MELVILLE

Douglas Clayton Melville, son of Clyde and Elsie (Spear) Melville, was born on March 10, 1963 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He departed this life Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Canadian, Texas. He was 56 years of age. Doug was born with Cerebral Palsy. It was said that he would never be able to walk, talk, go to school, or even grow to Adulthood. Beating all odds, he went to school, graduated and went on and did 2 years of College. He Loved to work and repair motorcycles. There was no job big or small that he couldn’t do himself. Doug loved his family and being surrounded by them, filled him with Joy. He also loved people, dogs, and motorcycles. When he didn’t have to drive, he loved to Travel. He has been called a living Miracle. Doug and Sarah Moser fell in love many years ago and they spent the last 13 years together, living in Higgins. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Christopher. Doug is survived by his love, Sarah, of Higgins, Texas; Kellie and Travis Renfro, of Canadian, Texas; their 4 children; Andrew, Carlie, Landon, and Joshua of Canadian, Texas. Doug considered Kellie to be his daughter and her 4 children to be his grandchildren. Papa Loved them and they loved Papa. His sister and a nephew (where abouts unknown). Travis His nephew, from San Jose, California and many other friends and family members. Their will be private family services at the Higgins Cemetery, Higgins, Texas at a later date.
