To my great uncle, a member of the greatest generation; you and your brothers inspired me to serve this nation in keeping with the traditions you laid before us. No greater cause has ever been served and you will always be my real life GI Joes. Thank you for instilling the love of family and kinship into us, we will always have a special family bond. Rest easy, slow salute sir.
