Leroy "Charlie" Everett Whisenhunt

     Leroy Everett Whisenhunt passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.  A son of the late Everett and Blanche (Lemmons) Whisenhunt, he was born on December 24, 1944 in Shattuck, Oklahoma.  On February 19, 1967 he married Dianna Riggs. They had three children, Angie, Justin and Shance.  Leroy proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserves during Vietnam.  He worked for Enron for 14 years. He then fulfilled his passion for farming, ranching, working cattle and he was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Leroy loved riding horses, hunting, and trout fishing and camping in Colorado.  Leroy had a caring heart and loved to tell stories. 

     Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Angie Bond.

     He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dianna Whisenhunt of the home; children of Angie Bond, Tanner, Trailen and Trapper Bond of Knowles, OK; son, Justin Whisenhunt and his wife, Chrissy and son, Jax of Wichita Falls, TX; son, Shance Whisenhunt and his son, Kallen of Laverne, OK. Other family includes sister, Treva Daniels of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Joan Stout of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Harold Whisenhunt (deceased) of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Larry and his wife, Connie Whisenhunt of Topeka, KS.
