Bud - While I only knew you for a short period when you lived in Colorado, I feel like I really got to know you then. After all, I gave you a son. I will always remember when I brought Daniel to visit you in Oklahoma when he was only 2 years old and when you had the opportunity to visit us in Colorado when Daniel was 5.
We grew apart, but you have always been in our prayers.
I am sad you are gone but also glad you are with family and friends in heaven.

Wow, Bud! I wasn't ready, even after more than 2 weeks, to have to write something in here. I miss you like crazy, man. If only we could have had one more day.... No, I wouldn't have been ready then, either, but I'd have had the chance to let you see my face when I told you how much I love you.
So many memories, good times & not-so-good times, events important and unimportant.. all the things brothers go through in life, we experienced a lot. You more than I, but it was deemed important that I not learn about some of your personal experiences until adulthood. I'll never know what you went through this side of heaven, and I hope you'll be allowed to tell me when I join you there.
I'm getting better, but this is so hard, Bud. You weren't supposed to go, yet. But I believe you're aware of what's going on here, so I'll be talking to you from time to time. I promise.
