Donald Mobley

Donald Charles Mobley, 75, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2017 after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born November 4, 1941 to Charley and Esther Mobley in Rosston, OK and was raised in Laverne, OK. He was a star football player at Laverne and
graduated with the Class of 1959. With his Father's signature, he enlisted in the Army at age 17, served in Korea for
one year and was Honorably discharged in 1962.

Don married his beautiful wife of 48 years, Linda Ashlock Mobley, on September 13, 1968. Together, with their daughters, he enjoyed,
boating, fishing, camping and family vacations. Collecting coins for over sixty years was a passion and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, numerous family members, friends and classmates.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, three daughters, LaDona Owles and husband Ray, Angela Mobley and husband Corey Nielsen, and Donita Mobley, five grandchildren Jazmin, Xzeric, Chandler, Amathyst and Jace, great-grand daughter, Alysen, numerous other relatives and the beloved dog, Bella.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.

Funeral Services Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Laverne, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow in the Laverne Cemetery in Laverne, Oklahoma.
