Dana Bowen, 70 of Shattuck, Oklahoma passed from this life January 5, 2017 in Edmond, Oklahoma.  He was born April 7, 1946 in Rochester, New Hampshire.  
     He graduated from High School in 1964.  He moved to Shattuck in 1986.  He enjoyed life making sales, and building shop building, collecdting antiques and various hobbies.  Dana had 4 children, Alena, Guy, Tina, and Lesley.  His pastime was fishing.  He met his best friend Janice McCollough in 1986..  He was accepted by her family as "POPO". and enjoyed intertaining the children.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Geneva (Nutt) Bowen.
     He is survived by Janice, Stephanie, Sally and grandchildren, Dylan, Deklan, Sophie, Heidi and Sage; 1 sister;  Shelly Maytum, Brothers; Danny Bowen, Steve Bowen, Stacey Bowen, Brett Bowen, and three daughters; Alena Hillbolt, Tina Evans, and Leslie Bowen and son Guy Bowen. 8 grandchildren; Jackie Renshaw, Butch Hillbolt, Ashley Collier, Michael Beeman, Andy Beeman, Megan boyd, Eric Burpo and Ryan Burpo; and 14 great grandchilden and a host of family and friends.



     Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

     Funeral services will be Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cawlie Johnson of Church of the Nazarene officiating. Music selections was "The old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art". Casket Bearers were Humberta Rascon, Shane Lair, Grayson Kelln, J.R. DePriest, Gary DePriest and Donavon Schultz. Interment was in the Shattuck Memorial Cemetery, Shattuck, Oklahoma with the Mason Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
