BESSIE (PERRY) KRAFT

Bessie (Perry) Kraft was born on January 6, 1938 in Brownsboro, Texas to Earnest and Sudie (Whittington) Perry.  She passed from this life on April 19, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 79.
     Bessie lived in Brownsboro and Edom, Texas and attended school there until she was 17 years of age.  Then upon moving to Amarillo, Texas she met and married Floyd Kraft.  They were wed on March 14, 1961 in Clayton, New Mexico.  To this union one child was born, Michae.  They lived in Amarillo after getting married and then moved to Farmington, New Mexico and later to Waco, Texas.  They moved to Shattuck in 1976 and have resided here ever since.
     Bessie loved to sew and help deliver meals-on-wheels.  She greatly enjoyed being able to work in her church, she always crocheted many washcloths to put in the shoeboxes for operation Christmas.
     Preceding Bessie in death were her parents, her husband, Floyd Kraft in 1999 and son Michael in 1977.
     She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, many dear friends and her wonderful church family.
